Welcome, Kia ora..Follow me, Gav "iinami" Bisman, via this blog as I travel the coastline and countryside of Aotearoa in my trusty iinami mobile, chasing the NZ surf comp circuit to our many wave drenched shores.
I'll keep you up to date on who is ripping, what the waves were really like and show you behind the scenes and maybe even let you in on a few stories along the way.
Hope you enjoy the ride..

For this comp I had moved up in the world. Upstairs into the commentary booth to MC the Billabong Pro Jnr alongside good mate Cale Tolley.

Sorry its taken awhile to write and wrap this one up folks out there in web-land, it took me over a week to recover from my hangover from the after-party..

With my "real job" work done for the week I hit the motorway, Coromandel bound, early arvo to avoid the diabolical Auckland traffic.

RIP CURL PRO at RAGLAN!
I cruised down the winding road into Manu Bay at daybreak saturday morning to be greeted by fat but fun looking 2-3ft lefts rolling down the point.

Sandy Bay, Hyundai Pro Longboard Tour.
Last year I didn't make it up north for this event, instead opting to head to the Coro to head judge a grom event.
While I'm all for developing our future surfers, after missing the Sandy Bay event last year for the first time in 6 years I decided never again would I!
